Isabelle Sonnenfeld is Director of the EU AI Champions Initiative at General Catalyst, with a background at the intersection of technology, politics and society. She previously led Google News Lab for EMEA from 2015 to 2024, working on journalism innovation, disinformation countermeasures and election integrity. Earlier, she was Twitter Germany’s first employee and helped launch Twitter’s DACH presence through strategic media and political partnerships.
