Jim Swartz co-founded Accel with Arthur Patterson in 1983 and has spent more than 50 years in venture capital. Accel says he has been a lead director of more than 50 successful companies and was instrumental in Accel London and the founding of Meritech Capital. Before Accel, he was founding general partner of Adler & Company and previously a vice president at Citicorp Venture Capital.
