Michelle Gonzalez is Corporate Vice President and Global Head of M12. Before Microsoft and M12, she was managing partner for Area 120, Google’s internal incubator, where she worked on strategy and investment criteria for startup-style projects connected to Google’s core businesses. Earlier, she worked in the Office of the CEO at Google on startup and innovation initiatives. Her prior experience includes investor and entrepreneur-in-residence roles at Comcast Ventures, where she focused on VR/AR, artificial intelligence, and Catalyst Fund investments for underrepresented founders; partner work at IBM Ventures; product and business leadership at Apple; and consulting at McKinsey. She also co-founded the Influencer Series, a technology-leader community.
