Rama Bethmangalkar

Rama Bethmangalkar is Managing Director of Qualcomm Ventures India. Based in Bangalore, he focuses on emerging technologies including enterprise software, IoT, and machine learning. Before joining Qualcomm, he was a Principal at Ventureast, where he worked across fundraising, sourcing, diligence, portfolio management, and exits. Earlier, he spent nearly seven years at Sun Microsystems in Silicon Valley as a systems programmer and senior product manager. He holds an MBA from Cornell University, an MS in Computer Science from the University of Rhode Island, and a BE in Computer Science from the University of Mysore.
