Tim Tully

Tim Tully is a Partner at Menlo Ventures focused on early-stage investing in AI/ML, the new data stack, next-generation cloud, infrastructure, and cybersecurity. Menlo's profile lists investments including Pinecone, Neon, Edge Delta, JuliaHub, TruEra, ClearVector, Squint, and RelationalAI. Before joining Menlo, Tim was CTO of Splunk, where he oversaw Splunk's cloud transition and led product, engineering, IT, and security. Menlo states that he helped scale Splunk's product organization from 600 to 1,800 people in less than three years and contributed to significant revenue and market-cap growth. Earlier in his career, he held technical roles at Yahoo!, Sun Microsystems, and startups. He holds an MS from Carnegie Mellon University and a BS from the University of California, Davis.
