Zachary Chen is a partner on Andreessen Horowitz's American Dynamism team, where he works with founders building technology for defense, aerospace, and national security. Before a16z, he spent seven years at JPMorgan Chase in the Corporate & Investment Bank, serving as a Vice President in Treasury Sales and advising multinational corporations, financial institutions, and high-growth fintechs. Earlier, he served in the United States Navy, including deployments aboard a guided missile destroyer and service in Explosive Ordnance Disposal.
