Zak Doric, PhD, is an investing partner on a16z's Bio + Health team focused on biotechnology companies. Before joining Andreessen Horowitz, he completed the Fellowship program at Flagship Pioneering, where he created venture hypotheses for new biotech company creation efforts. He holds a PhD in neuroscience from UCSF, where his research focused on molecular mechanisms responsible for familial forms of Parkinson's disease, and a BSc in Neuroscience from McGill University.
